Trip to the Folks

This past Monday, I made one of those whirlwind trips to the folks. After my Mom's sister being diagnosed with leukemia and me not being able to spend time with them in September like I usually do, I thought a quick trip might provide a little comfort. I hope so anyway.

I took off Monday morning, stopped in Memphis along the way to make a visit and got up there about 3:00 PM just in time to help my Dad finish some yard work. Mom had to work Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday and they planned a trip to see my aunt on Thursday (when I was planning to come home, so I did not get to go).

All in all, it was a whirlwind trip. I got to spend some time in my Dad's classes and some time each evening with my Mom.
