The Light is Getting Brighter

Miss Kay had an appointment with the doctor this past Monday and we received some good news. She walked into the office with her crutches and her feet were straight as ever. He was thrilled to see the progress. He was 100% happy with the right leg and about 85% happy with the left leg. The left leg seems to bow out a little and we are not sure how this will be handled. However, he was happy to see her walking and removed all restrictions. So, she is able to bear weight on her legs and resume to normal life.

Also, he said that he did not think physical therapy three times a week woudl be necessary. So he has dropped it down to twice a week (one physical therapy and the other hydro (water) therapy. This means less trips to Germantown than we had expected and less copays in one week. Yea! Right now, we have them scheduled through the 2nd of October. She has an appontment with the doctor again on the 29th of September at which time we will determine if more therapy will be needed.

Thank you all so much for the concern and prayers. The light at the end of the tunnel is getting brighter and we are so blessed that all is working well. I'll try to get a picture or two posted later on. Please, keep reading the family of N.
