What are toiletries?

Tonight, J.T. and Jeremy had to leave campus for a few minutes. The conversation beforehand was interesting:

Jeremy: "Son, go get your oatmeal for your bath."

J.T. "Where is it?"

Jeremy: "Mom packed it with your toiletries."

J.T.: "Why do they call them toiletries? Toilets don't grow on trees!"
